Our aim is to encourage female/non-binary university students who play, train or have an interest in rugby, to consider a career related to rugby.
The following resources have been curated with the intention to advise and inspire women on the possibilities of a career related to rugby. They are aimed at university level women with previous experience/interest in the sport, to educate on the pathways, experience, qualifications, opportunities in rugby careers. All are welcome to use.
Rugby is historically a male dominated sport, along with the careers associated with the game. But with record breaking attendances, more international teams turning professional and a growing number of women and girls putting on their boots, women’s rugby is on the rise. With the upcoming 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup hosted in England, introducing women into the sport and it’s career possibilities is vital for growing the game.
